Why choose us

Care that explains itself, every step of the way.

When you entrust a watch to us, you stay informed. We show our work — in writing, in plain language, before any work begins.

Six things that matter here

Written reports, always

Every job produces a written record — timing figures, work carried out, condition noted. Yours to keep.

Consent before action

Nothing is done without your agreement. Every finding is explained, every option is yours to choose.

Measured, not estimated

Timing regulation is done on calibrated equipment. Numbers are read, not assumed from experience alone.

Tropical climate expertise

Phuket's heat and humidity affect seal life and lubrication. We account for local conditions in every recommendation.

A real person to speak with

Visit the workshop, see the bench, talk to the technician. Not a drop-off box or an anonymous service centre.

Careful storage throughout

Your watch is held in a labelled cushioned tray from arrival to collection — never left loose or mixed with others.

Expertise

Mechanical knowledge built over years

Our lead watchmaker trained formally in Bangkok and spent three years working with a Swiss movement distributor. That background means the assessment of your watch is grounded in understanding — not pattern-matching from a quick look.

We work with a range of mechanical movements: manual-wind, automatic, dress watches, and tool watches. If something is outside our current capability, we say so clearly and will point you to someone who can help.

Formal horological training, Bangkok
Three-year posting with Swiss movement distributor
Specialist restoration technician for case and surface work
Honest referral if a piece requires different expertise
Calibrated timegrapher for timing analysis
Water-resistance pressure testing equipment
Magnification tools appropriate to movement scale
Climate-specific lubricant selection

Equipment

The right tools — used correctly

A timing machine tells us where a movement is running, across multiple positions, in numbers. That data goes into your written report. Water-resistance testing confirms whether seals are holding before we return a watch marked as water-resistant.

Lubricants are selected per movement type and adapted for Phuket's conditions. What works in a temperate workshop may not perform the same way here — we do not ignore the environment.

Communication

Service that keeps you informed

We make contact before we proceed, not after. If the initial assessment reveals something beyond the agreed service scope, we pause, describe what we found, and ask how you wish to proceed.

The person managing your watch enquiry is also the person who can answer technical questions. You are not speaking to a counter service person relaying messages to someone in a back room.

Pre-work assessment shared with owner
Any scope change requires your agreement before work continues
Progress updates if service is taking longer than expected
Plain-language explanations — no jargon to justify cost
Transparent base pricing for each service
Parts quoted separately and only fitted with approval
No cost to decline additional work after assessment
Written record adds long-term value to the watch

Pricing

What you see is what the work costs

Service prices are shown clearly and cover the core work described. If replacement parts are needed, those are quoted as a separate line — before fitting, never after. You have full visibility of what the final figure will be.

The written record we provide has its own value: a documented service history adds something tangible to a watch worth caring for.

Outcomes

A watch that runs as it should

The aim of every service is a watch returned to comfortable, reliable performance — running within the accuracy range its movement was designed for, wearing well, and holding its seals. We test before we hand back.

For restoration work, the aim is also cosmetic: a case and bracelet that have been attended to with care, without losing the character that comes from honest wear.

What makes us different

Features you will not find everywhere

The no-surprise promise

We commit — in writing — that nothing proceeds without the owner's understanding and explicit agreement. This is built into how every service begins, not an afterthought.

Phuket-specific service approach

We are one of the few local workshops that explicitly adapts service recommendations to the island's climate — not applying cool-climate norms to tropical conditions.

Intentionally small throughput

We limit how many pieces are on the bench at once. This means each watch gets genuine attention — not a production-line approach where volume is the priority.

Documentation as standard

A written service record is not an optional add-on here — it is produced for every job. Over time, these records form a history that adds meaning and context to the watch.
